Deluxe Winterization
Project Details:
Memphis Water Gardens completely rebuilt this Aquascape Ecosystem Pond in Oxford, Mississippi. The owner wanted to keep the feature from getting clogged with leaves and debris. The house backed up to several acres of woods and she wanted to protect her fish during the wintertime and lower maintenance needs.
This pond was approximately 10′ x 20′. While a standard netting would have been functional, it would have restricted visibility. We installed permanent hardware to make future installations easier and at a reduced price. A high quality metal wire is run across the feature allowing leaves and debris to blow to the side of the netting and not directly on top. Then in the Spring, the netting can be easily removed.

Client's Vision and Plan:
The homeowner wanted to protect her investment (the new pond) and also allow maintenance to be easier. Her landscaper could simply blow the leaves off the side of the netting. The Deluxe Netting system also protected her MANY goldfish from predators.
