Memphis Water Gardens Announces Grand Opening of Memphis’ First Water Garden Design & Retail Center

Memphis, TN — March 6, 2026 — Memphis Water Gardens is proud to announce the grand opening of Memphis’ first dedicated Water Garden Design and Retail Center, bringing a unique destination for water feature design, garden inspiration, and outdoor living to the heart of Midtown Memphis.

The new Design Center will be located in the historic Palladio space at 741 South Cox Street, marking an exciting new chapter for Memphis Water Gardens and a distinctive addition to the city’s growing design and gardening community.

What We Are Building

Designed to inspire homeowners, landscapers, and garden enthusiasts alike, the Memphis Water Gardens Design Center will showcase a wide variety of features and products, including decorative water features, koi ponds, formal fountains, and garden fountains. Visitors will also find a curated selection of aquatic plants, ornamental fish, houseplants, garden design services, garden statues, and premier patio furniture designed to elevate outdoor living spaces.

“Our goal is to create a place where people can experience the beauty, tranquility, and creativity that water features bring to a landscape,” said owner Frank Roberts.“ This Design Center will offer something truly one of a kind for Memphis—an immersive environment where customers can explore ideas and work with experts to design their own backyard oasis.”

Grand Opening Date

The Grand Opening Celebration will take place on May 2, 2026, welcoming the community to explore the new showroom, learn about water gardening, and discover innovative outdoor design possibilities.
